George Orwell died
of tuberculosis on 21st January 1950, but his words are still relevant
today.
On the anniversary of his death, we celebrate his vision and his
skill in describing the realities of his time, but also of our own.
“We are all capable of believing things which we know to be
untrue, and then, when we are finally proved wrong, impudently twisting the facts so as to show that we were right.”
-George Orwell
