Sharing a document to work collaboratively within breakout groups


Sometimes face-to-face group or pair work is not possible. This does not mean that online group interactions are a second best. There are ways to support a rich online collaborative experience, and you can combine two different tools that will make your participants experience their learning or their interactions in a very positive way. 

A great way to get students or participants in a group to engage with work is a good topic and a good question. This has not changed with online learning. What has changed is the way you make that happen. Facilitate communication and engagement by using a shared document in combination with breakout groups.
